Everyone’s a winner when we give back to the community. Proceeds
from this event will support JLR Community Assistance Grants,
scholarships for Rochester area college-bound young women, and JLR
projects. JLR projects currently include providing support to
cancer patients and their families and computer training for women
in transition to assist their return to the workforce.
At the event, the JLR presented the 2006
Community Assistant Grant of $5,000 to Children Awaiting
Parents, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to
finding loving adoptive families for legally free children in
Monroe County.
